No. The AI model runs entirely in your browser. Open the Network tab in your devtools while erasing — you will see zero image traffic leaving your device. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored.
Yes. This tool is meant for watermarks on images you own or have permission to edit, such as your own photos or purchased stock. Removing a watermark to bypass someone else's rights may be illegal in your country — please respect copyright.
The AI model (about 28 MB) downloads the first time you use the tool, then is cached in your browser. After that it loads instantly from the cache. Machines with WebGPU (most modern browsers) run the erase in a few seconds; without it a slower fallback is used.
Brush snugly over the whole watermark with a slightly larger brush so no edge is left behind. Small, semi-transparent watermarks on flat or textured backgrounds work best; very large logos over detailed subjects are harder to reconstruct.
Not within the working size. Only the brushed area is rebuilt by the model; everything you did not brush is kept as-is. However, images larger than 2048 px on the long edge are scaled down to that working size first, so very large photos are downsized overall — the tool shows the exact output dimensions with the result.
